BPR Medical – Home oxygen fires and saving lives

Challenge

Every year in the US and across Europe, home oxygen fires cause hundreds of deaths and life changing injuries. The problem often goes unreported and unrecognised though. 3:nine was tasked with highlighting the issue to make patients safer, while supporting sales of a vital safety device.

Strategy

In partnership with BPR Medical, we have delivered an international campaign, including white papers, media relations, and stakeholder engagement raising awareness of the issue and offering solutions.

Outcome

The issue is now recognised as an international problem, with stakeholders from fire safety leaders, medical authorities, and senior legislators working to deliver a patient-driven solution to save lives. The Veterans Health Administration has mandated it among its 100,000 patients.
